Everyone comes from childhood. Surely for many cartoons fall into the list of such tender memories.
A large number of children, watching cartoons, became attached to the characters they saw on the screen. In childhood, they seemed truly alive.
But few people know that some of those children's characters are much more “alive” than the children thought. Praise the world of technology that does not tire of developing from year to year.
If the children of the last century could not even imagine that their favorite characters would be so close to them, then modern children cannot even imagine for a moment how it could be otherwise.

Few people know, but the kind and cute cartoon of Robert Zemeckis "Polar Express", which tells about the journey of a little boy to visit Santa Claus, was the first in the history of cinema to be shot completely using the technology of "motion capture".
The director understood: if you use good known and familiar techniques of rotoscoping and a green screen during filming, it would take too much time to implement, and you had to work quickly.
Therefore, it was decided to resort to motion picture technology. On the face and body of Tom Hanks and other actors placed special markers that read all the actions and facial expressions of artists. That is how the characters of the Polar Express were born.
9. Sasha Baron Cohen - King Julian (Madagascar, 2005)
Sasha Baron Cohen is a particularly noteworthy and vibrant comedian who is famous even outside of his native Great Britain.
If you watch the cartoon "Madagascar" in the original, it amazes how accurately the dubbing actor is selected for the character of the slightly crazy lemur king Julian.
Moreover, the little lemur is suspiciously similar to Sasha Baron Cohen also externally, and therefore watching his facial expressions and movements is twice as interesting.
8. Tom Cruise - Aladdin (Aladdin, 1992)
The charming Aladdin, who warmed the souls of millions of girls after the release of the cartoon of the same name in 1992, originally had to look completely different. He was supposed to become the owner of the face of Michael J. Fox.
But the creators of the cartoon, upon seeing the result, decided that Aladdin had a very boyish face, and therefore the main character underwent processing. And now “flaunts” with the charming face and smile of Tom Cruise.
7. Robin Williams - Genie (Aladdin, 1992)
The great and truly talented actor Robin Williams very responsibly approached the role of the genie from the cartoon "Aladdin", which was already discussed above.
It is known for certain that it was thanks to the humor and temperament that the actor put into the character’s voice acting that the genie turned out to be so colorful.
Most likely, it was for this reason that the authors decided to add an outward resemblance to Robin to the cheerful character in order to completely complement the image.
6. Rihanna - The Gift (House, 2015)
The main character named Dar - an earthly teenage girl, miraculously survived the forcible resettlement from her native city. She was left alone, since her parents did not have time to hide and were taken out by alien conquerors by buoys.
Rihanna voices the heroine named Gratitude, and briefly - Gift. A wonderful pile of fluffy, curly hair determines the similarity of the girls.
Rihanna in an interview says that the image of the main character reminds her of herself at this age. Such a brave and bold, decisive and inventive.
5. Eddie Murphy - Donkey (Shrek, 2001)
Shrek is a full-length animated film that contains characters from the favorite fourteen tales. And to get lost among them is quite possible. But not a devoted friend of Shrek - Oslo.
The role was voiced by Eddie Murphy. Talkativeness, an inimitable sense of humor, contagious laughter, willingness to join any optimistic group is the actor’s calling card. It was Eddie Murphy who made the image of the Donkey memorable and vivid.
4. Jeremy Irons - Scar (The Lion King, 1994)
Another well-known and popular cartoon of the children of the 90s is the “Lion King”. Millions of children around the world were indignant and fiercely hated the main antagonist, namely, the evil uncle Simba - the lion of Scar.
It was his fault that the little lion cub lost his dad, and power illegally fell into the clutches of the insidious Scar and its henchmen hyenas.
If you look at the features of an evil lion, then on its face traces of the famous actor Jeremy Irons are traced. This, of course, adds character charisma, but not love.
3. Jim Carrey - Ebenezer Scrooge (Christmas Story, 2009)
This cartoon is currently associated with the digitization of a live artist in the hands of director Robert Zemeckis.
In “Christmas Story”, Jim Carrey voices Ebenezer Scrooge - a miser, also voices the spirits of Christmas.
New technologies allowed repeating facial expressions, gestures of the artist. The effect is amazing and scary.
Since the cartoon touches on not very children's issues, it is terribly realistic.
2. Will Smith - Oscar (The Underwater Brothers, 2004)
Oscar is the main character of the cartoon. It has a smiling appearance, a bold character. A complete lack of fear. Extraordinary plasticity, musicality and sense of rhythm.
Poured Will Smith. The external similarity coincided with the character's character. From the screen, it is convinced that charm and intimate conversation can peacefully resolve most even very serious issues.
1. Angelina Jolie - Lola (The Underwater Brothers, 2004)
Of course, the actress herself is not in the cartoon. The viewer hears her voice in voicing a heroine named Lola. Wonderful, kind, life-affirming and very beautiful cartoon.
Interestingly, the fish looks very similar to the actress. Of course, in the first place, chubby lips attract attention. Open expressive face. Insightful look. And a unique style. Lola fish is written off one to one from the original.
